fascistdream, forever dedicated to as much original content (or commentary, rather) as possible. well, ne’er less than at least some comments on a reblog.

This is an awesome, mid-90s forgotten G-funk cut (these guys don’t have much of a web presence — small enough that one of the dudes personally thanks particular Youtube commenters on one of their videos) that I found via a DJ Screw remix. Watch out for the heavy-as-fuck synth riff and their really fun cadences (whoever does the second verse nails this Snoop-on-speed ‘sleazy yet slick’ vibe) and of course the irremediably 90s cover art (it looks like the band members are breaking out of a CGI prison)

my chopped and screwed loop of “Superbass” (which, I agree with Pitchfork, is one of the best tracks of the year.) I’ve had ah goddamn nuff of political economy for the time being (my professor is very dry, though a nice guy and the essay prompts are almost by design prompting slogs.)
